Customers who are happy with your human hair extensions, will always return to your shop. All you must do is to keep them happy. This is the best and cheapest way to build your business. You save on marketing and time to tell them about your hair business.

This sounds easy, but too often the client turns sour because the human hair starts to tangle or to shed. This has nothing to do with the quality of the hair. My experience learns too often customers forget the hair is a natural product. Human hair, especially after it’s cut, needs proper attention and good maintenance.

Human hair extensions maintenance tips to share with your clients

Brush

Use a soft bristle brush. Start at the bottom, as you would with your natural hair. Detangle that area first before you move up to work on the top sections. Be gentle with your extensions too.
Wash

Wash your hair often. 2-3 times for one week. Proper shampoo is important to maintain hair. Always select a mild shampoo to wash it. Use organic coconut milk or silicon oil products to prevent drying well.

Rinse your hair with cold water. When in the shower, you should always do the final rinse with cold water, this makes hair shiny.

Avoid brushing CURLY & WAVY hair as it may cause hair to stretch hair and break. Instead, use your finger or use a wide-toothed comb to remove knots

Allow extensions to air dry after washing, rather than drying them with a hair dryer. You could dry them with a towel, hang up and unfold to let it air dry. Prevent human hair extensions from becoming damaged. Spray them with heat protection before restyle.

Tips & Warning about human hair extensions

* Make sure to rinse thoroughly.
* Rinse with cold water.
* Your fingers are the most effective way to massage the shampoo & conditioner into your hair.
* Avoid using hot water.
* Do not apply conditioner to the scalp.
